Who can use a menstrual cupUpdated a year ago

Almost anyone who menstruates can use a menstrual cup! That's right - even if you are a teen, have never used a tampon, or have never put anything in your vagina, you can still use a cup. We encourage you to take your time, go slowly, and listen to your body as you learn to insert your cup.

One of the best ways to get started is to insert your fingers into your vaginal canal and get familiar with your cervix height. Mastering a reusable inserted period product like a cup comes with the opportunity to fully understand your internal anatomy as well as your external anatomy. A Saalt Cup will need to be positioned correctly in relation to your cervix to collect your flow. So knowing your cervix height and position is a great place to start. People have anatomical differences such as the size or shape of the hymen or a smaller vaginal canal, which may mean that a longer time practicing and learning will be needed before cup use will come easily. But we are here to help! Text our Saalt Coaches if you need any tips at 775-23-SAALT.
